Huerta inaugurates his new R&R imprint with TV Slang LP. Existing in a world away from the club, Huerta picks up where his debut album Junipero left off. Intended primarily as an immersive home-listening experience, TV Slang explores rhythmic moods and ambient soundscapes: combining traces of deep house, downtempo, and a suggestion of breakbeat flavors. Partially recorded back in 2019 and subsequently completed in 2022, TV Slang is the first release on R&R, a sub-label of Leizure focused on exploring more nuanced and eclectic sounds outside the rigid framework of dance music.

⛓️ A monumental fusion of Brass House, Memphis Phonk Techno House, Hard Techno & G-House. Dark brass stabs echo through cavernous cathedral reverb, layered with pipe organ chords, sacred choirs, and Gregorian chants twisted into haunting phonk chops. A 126–128 BPM G-House groove drives hypnotic whispers — “In the Cathedral of sound… we rise…” — before the floor collapses into punishing hard techno drops powered by industrial bells, rumble kicks, and distorted 808 subs. Sacred, reverberant, and unholy in its power, this is techno mass turned into ritual fire.

Lerosa (Uzuri, Idle Hands, Lunar Disko) adds to his esteemed discography with an EP composed entirely during the summer of 2020. Several of his musical influences – I.M.S., Lee 'Scratch' Perry, James Stinson – can be heard across these four diverse tracks, as he jumps nimbly from italo to dub to house to electro. As always with Lerosa, though, the sound that emerges is distinctively his own, the result of daily cat-assisted studio time at his home in Dublin.
