Samari
Described as modern punk for a dystopian future, Samari’s 
non conformist ethos permeates through his shows; 
sonically as a DJ + producer and visually through his live 
synced video 
Part political, part industrial, always danceable. 
His sound is urgent, forward thinking, uncompromising 

His ability to control tension and imbue energy on the dance floor has earned Samari a 
reputation as one of New Zealand’s leading techno artists. Known for his razor sharp 
mixing, sonic accuracy, and live audio / video performance makes for a rare and 
memorable experience.
In 2018, Samari launched the infamous Klang party, pioneering the techno movement in 
New Zealand and standing as the country’s longest running techno party.
Following that in 2020 came the release of the kiwi born producers debut album 
HyperNormal on Vein Label records out of Italy.
Now In 2023 Samari returns to Melbourne after almost ten years away. An Ableton 
Certified trainer, producer and techno veteran.
