Let this VA compilation serve as a soundtrack to your decompression. Feel the afterburn warming your soul and fueling your creativity. These are the tracks that defined our Burning Man – a wider palette of sounds than you may have heard from us in the past. We wanted to offer a platform to a variety of promising newcomers.

These are the tracks we’ve been supporting all year. All of them have been amplifying dance floors & deserts in their own unique way. Sounds from The Netherlands, Berlin, Austria, Athens, Mexico City, Dubai, Cape Town, Paris, New York and Copenhagen. Friends we’ve met on our travels, and invited into our family. Kotelett & Zadak have been spreading their cheeky take on House for some while now, maintaining their outlandish fishing-related back-story over the standard/boring DJ duo biography. Although keen to bring a sense of fun to electronic music, their music is anything but flippant. 

'Never Enough' is the new release on Poker Flat Recordings, showcases the duo’s production chops. Slowly building from an atmospheric start, a thick, tight groove shines through, augmented by beautifully crafted percussive and melodic patterns. 

It feels like the perfect record for summer sunsets or sunrises, and is sure to win over dancefloors everywhere.

Mark Alow and Fake Mood both have an ability to harness the complexity of ethnic influences into their signature deep house productions. Russia’s Fake Mood presents his reimagined ‘Azure’, the B side of Mark’s well received Define EP. By soothing out the club-focused banger, the Fake Mood remix adds a touch of electro on top of Mark’s pristine synth drive. A track built around a diverse set of influences, the Azure Remix cohesively sways between jungle vibes and synth masterpiece.

[Liner Notes]
Vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer Bora Uzer teamed up with Mynox and Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Vander to create "Let It Breathe". Birthed on a never-ending day of February in Turkey's dynamic city of Istanbul, this piece fuses elements of electronica, deep house, and modern pop. The lush vocals of Bora convey a certain epicurism and invite us to let go and accept life.

This EP is complemented by the alternative versions of psychedelic duo Pandhora, British talent Shunus, and Volt Milano residents Sound Shapes. Pandhora crafted a progressive & melodic reshape incorporating jazzy chords and upbeat grooves. Shunus came up with a different story, slowing things down with his downtempo sound signature and a relish of western vibes. To wrap up this release, the Italian duo Sound Shapes infused their remix with deep sounds and decided to go for a tense atmosphere which suits afterhours dancefloors perfectly.
