Welcome again to the relaunch of GLITCH CURATES, for this instalment I invited Cratan, alias of the young Dallas producer Decoder. A producer I have had my eye of for a while now as his style almost resembles that of the late 90s. Simple & groovy, but still maintaining a raw and innovative approach to his productions; Decoder has made some pretty outstanding releases throughout his short but exciting journey in the scene, and is definitely a space to keep an eye on for the future.

Over the past years Insolate has proven that she is one of the most interesting artists our scene has to keep an eye on. Many strong releases, such as her ‘Sins EP’ on Ben Sims’ label Symbolism and ‘Cern Research Center 35’ on Developer’s Modularz, have already had a great impact on the dancefloor. 

Besides building her way on a musical level, Insolate is a great contributor to the Croation music scene as well. As a co-host of TRAUM (together with Volster, who provided FrenzyPodcast #096), she makes sure a great selection of quality techno comes to her country.

The end of a turbulent 2021 is closing in. To close off the year, we’re back with the second December Series. This year’s December Series is about talent from home soil. It will be a mix of new faces and artists who’ve developed themselves since their previous FrenzyPodcast.

The artist who will kick off the December Series is Delano Legito. The man behind Eindhoven’s De Missie became a regular face in the (Dutch) scene over the year, with both his mixes and productions. Delano aims to find the sweet spot of the darker spheres and groove in the sets he plays.

For FrenzyPodcast #105, Delano created a one-and-half journey in which he wants to tell a story. “I believe sets have their ups and downs. Sets can be split up in different phases, which makes it exciting as clubber to listen throughout the whole set. If you have a down moment, you can work towards a peak that remains in your memory for a long tome. Characterized by a mix of energetic techno, breakbeat, drum n bass and experimental, her eclectic sets tend to be on the heavier side of the sound spectrum, yet Melania is known for effortlesly crossing into other genres as well, routinely surprising her listeners with a sudden change of atmosphere. Above all else, Melania is focused on her own productions, which have been released on labels such as Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, Instruments of Discipline, Subsist Records and others and reflect her own dark musical visison. Now Melania plays gigs around the globe, next to hosting her own parties series VERZERRUNG in Poznan, Poland. This set is a testament to Melanias ingenuity, taking you down unexpected musical paths with unknown destinations.

Mostly being precent as a photographer his motivation to mix started from an ‘’inside feeling of sharing what it feel needs to be shared in the moment that needs to be shared“ and he wanted to give more to the techno community. Now he is living in Berlin where he expanded his knowledge of music. Yuri is co founder of the parties X concept by Room Trax where he is also resident DJ and brings all the creative direction of the brand. For him multidisciplinary is super important because besides of Dj, he is mainly an artist, curator and founder of YF Agency ( agency of content creation and visual artists for the electronic music scene )
