The Colombian techno phenomenon Gotshell debuts on the Planet X label with two bangers – and features remixes from two of the most inspiring techno producers at the moment. There's a lot to be excited about with this one. The release begins with the title track Cluster, a hard-hitting spacey techno wonder. High-pitch sirens travel around the speakers and infiltrate your senses – like an ancient gaseous alien lifeform in search of a carbon-based lifeform. Hypnotic and hard. One of the more prolific techno producers today and the mastermind behind the SK_Eleven label, Setaoc Mass, turns the title track into a molecule-rearranging thumping floor-filler. The B-side starts with Syndrome. Its earth-shattering kick and hypnotic atmospheres drag the listening into a weird, occult journey. Ideal for the late-night darkrooms, metaphorically and figuratively. Takaaki Itoh, the Japanese techno sensation and founder of the acclaimed Wols label, follows up with his own rendition of the track. The remix from this remarkable legend within the scene is both eerie and engaging from the get-go. Its driven by a thumping kick, playful hi-hats, and modular bells – a combination that combines the whole release and makes it such an essential for DJs who are daring enough to take their set toward unknown territory. The Planet X label is the brainchild of the Icelandic techno artist Exos where the harder side of techno is explored.

Towards the end of 2021 Pfirter released his second personal album on MindTrip. ‘Altered States’, a 10-track LP, takes the listener on an extended trip that flows from one detailed, textured immersion to the other as captured over a short burst of creativity by Pfirter during the quarantine days.
	Alarico & Nørbak are two young artists with a fresh, signature sound that MindTrip’s label head admires and supports, so inviting them to contribute their own interpretations on his latest album and give to the original tracks a very interesting twist became the next natural step.
	The Italian Alarico revisited the album's title track ‘Altered States’ by sharing a mysterious, hypnotic and dark version of the original, while keeping the same energy.
	Portugal’s Nørbak, who is no stranger to the MindTrip world, worked on a straightforward, rhythmic edition of ‘Convergence´, making it the perfect addition to any proper Techno session.
This two-track remixed pack puts quality over quantity and authenticity on top of anything else.

Marcal makes his return to Rekids Special Projects this December with ‘Reduction Pt. 2’.

The Brazilian producer’s second release for the label sees him follow up September’s DVS1, Truncate and Noncompliant supported ‘Reduction Pt. 1’ with five more powerful cuts which perfectly fits the Rekids offshoot’s grittier, fully techno focussed remit.

‘Sentinel’ opens the release with a tightly wound energy that is sustained throughout all five tracks. While Marcal constructs undulating, nagging grooves, it's his use of barely tamed synths, FX and vocal snippets that give the classic techno frames real character as they shoot around the tracks with a distinct life-of-their-own feel.

Following releases from the likes of Hemka, P.Leone, Shinedoe and SRVD, Rekids Special Projects has proved it’s worth as a punchy sister imprint and ‘Reduction Pt.2’ is yet another uncompromising missive from the Berlin-based outfit.

Tough yet deep sound designer is a clear mark of this young producer's talent. Backed with a superbly crafted remix by rising star Yant, the Manchester born producer weaves his own unique take of the EP's title track.
