West Rules is Joaquin Ruiz´s label which is becoming a must-visit when searching for top underground techno tracks. The Buenos Aires based label has been selective when choosing the material for the next VA series "Alien Connections VI " and this one is close to perfect.

The compilation is a solid package of 9 tasteful productions.

As a perfectly paced introduction to this powerful selection "Side Effects" is kicking in with galloping rhythms and a punchy kick providing serious traction from end to end. Combined with organic drum sounds, high energy, and a thrilling atmosphere it surely takes the present mood on a whole new level.

Angioma - Side Effects

Decoder (USA) is prolific producer whose specialty is loop based sci-fi techno. For example, we were presented with over 140 demos that he had made the previous month. Insane.
From these demos comes Falling Out, an EP built from some of the young Texan's more left-field tracks. We wanted to put together something that felt like a journey when listed front to back.
A big thanks to Decoder for his trust with his music and working with us.
