✈ To celebrate this new episode, we are proud and delighted to host such an iconic figure from the US Techno scene : TRUNCATE (Truncate, Ovum, BluePrint, CLR).

After being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouses, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the moniker Audio Injection, which landed on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 and continues today as resident at the infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz.

In early 2011, he started the project 'Truncate' to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases have been gain critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, East Everything, Jooris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink! for Pets Recordings, Slam for Soma, and Trus’me for Prime Numbers. He has also released original tracks on 50 Weapons and on Ultramajic as a collaboration with Jimmy Edgar.

A rigorous international tour schedule has followed, including included stops at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam and Output in New York.  
 
With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.

Active in the field of electronic music since the early 90s, Robin Kampschoer is an innovative artist and composer whose works navigate the dynamic space between contemporary techno and experimental electronica. With a reputation for electrifying performances, Kampschoer has graced stages at numerous clubs and festivals around the globe, delivering both DJ and live sets that resonate with audiences. His artistic vision extends beyond conventional performances; he has engaged in a variety of unique projects, including live jam sessions and collaborative efforts for STOOR and Pink Noise. Notably, he has performed AV Surround Sound live sets at Germany's Fusion Festival and an AV ambient live set at the prestigious Palais de Tokyo museum in Paris, and others. His experimental spirit is also reflected in installations like the “Self Pollinating Light Organ,” showcased during Amsterdam Dance Event, and others. Kampschoer's discography features EPs and albums released on leading techno labels such as STOOR, Rudiment, Dynamic Reflection, Diffuse Reality, and Methodical, as well as his own imprint, RKM. His work often pushes the boundaries of the genre, integrating diverse influences and innovative soundscapes. Throughout his career, Kampschoer has collaborated with many notable figures in the electronic music scene, including Speedy J, Rødhåd, Colin Benders, and the Dutch Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. His commitment to exploration and creativity continues to shape the landscape of electronic music, making him a vital presence in the industry.

His distinctive approach caught the attention of Secret Cinema and, more recently, Rødhåd — leading to a contribution on one of the WSNWG Various Artist EPs and a feature in Rødhåd’s Fabric mix.

This mix is an attempt to cover and condense what's been on my mind, shaping it into a coherent narrative - a sort of speculative history of imagined futures. I wanted to reward patient listeners with something that gradually unfolds, something that at moments feels eschewing and idiosyncratic, playing with tone and rhythm in ways that contrast trends. 

The story is propelled by this sense of futurism that has always existed in our music and our culture, while being firmly rooted in history's oldest instinct - forward motion.

Fergus Sweetland is a Melbourne-born, London-based artist known for his wonky, wobbly, and rhythm-driven take on contemporary techno. Blending texture, atmosphere, and groove, his music crafts immersive narratives that tap into instinct and emotion. His DJ sets echo the same spirit—dynamic, playful, and always evolving.

A core member of the Hayes Collective, Fergus has released on respected labels such as Illegal Alien, NRBK, Connection Verified, and his own imprint, Pressure Systems. The label reflects his belief that sound is pressure, and music is its system—a platform for total creative freedom and raw self-expression.

This mix was recorded in July 2025 at The Glove That Fits as the closing set for Fossil Archive. The concept was to present an album in the context of a DJ set - something I’d been wanting to explore for a while. For this first attempt, I chose Spread by Heiko Laux. Heiko is like an older brother to me, so it felt special to honour his work in this way. You could say it was a Heiko Laux night.
