"Based on Instinct" is the first solo EP of Atmophile Electronics co-founder Sharad Sood. Keeping a techno feel at heart this release is a representation of his never ending urge to experiment in the field of music creation and audio engineering.

The Budapest born, but Berlin based artist acquired his DJ craftsmanship at the age of 13, almost two decades ago. Since that time he had become a familiar face in the Budapest nightlife. Not only performed, but also organised various events from house to techno in the past years.
From his very early age, he has been into music production as well. He had releases on various labels under different aliases, like Global Underground, Baroque or Perfect Driver just to name a few. Beside his own carrier, he is steering a Budapest based techno event series, ’Vault Budapest’.
His music continuously evolved over the years due to the various impressions of the almost two decades that he has spent in the DJ booth and to the fact that he has always been a die-hard raver. His sound is obscure, analog fuelled techno, spiced up with a sense of melancholy.
Recently he has started to perform DAWless, hardware only live acts which gained recognition from the Hungarian techno scene.
