After his two outstanding contributions to Vitus' Curse: Sonus Noctis and "Vitus' Curse: Sonus Diei" young talent Talfelt now reappears for his first official solo EP coming on Vitus' Curse. While also setting the second milestone for the label with its first EP he provides a forward- thinking and high-contrast trip through the many facets of Techno with a great sense for aesthetics - as usual, hardware-based, only. 'Troffea' is the origin of Vitus' Curse and centuries later once again the beginning of a long story for the years to come. Brace yourselves. 
As opening of the EP "Troffea" starts with a dinstinctive groovy bassline, smooth but driving percussions, and an almost quirky touch until everything in it falls right into place with a wonderfully iridescent pad taking the mood on a whole new level. With its ecstatic finale that just feels like sunrise it is made to mesmerize en the audience in a seldom uplifting way. 
Coming in with heavy drive Talfelt's "Lost Voices" creates a uniquely dystopian and atmospheric vibe following a darker slightly approach. Pounding drum rhythms, thrilling arpeggios, and whispering vocal shots dissolve into cinematic chord progressions and an excitingly ambivalent mood - original and highly effective. 
"Duende" quickly sucks the listener right into a delightfully nostalgic story spiked with a variety of facets - vivid but still coherent. Captivating and expressively it blazes the way for a heightened state of emotion on the dancefloor. Accompanied by lashing and atmospheric drum patterns and crafted with seamless transitions it surely is one to remember. 
Fast forward, rhythmically and with a compelling symbiosis of arpeggio, drums and percussions "Ritus" shall activate every gathering. Hypnotic and pumping patterns make it a bassline-driven peak time stomper that keeps up momentum from end to end and letting the audience fall into total trance. 
As final complement to this selection, Talfelt delivers a moody and nicely melancholic gem for special moments and perfect closing vibes. With organic propelling drums and its beautiful pad embedded in an interesting atmosphere "Motus Chao" genuinely rounds up Vitus' Curse's first EP with stylistic command and lasting impression.

@exil-der-schatten is a young artist from munich, who shares his passion for hard, fast and trancy techno. The pseudonym was founded in early 2020 and specializes in a harder, hypnotic vibe, as well as the production of ambient and drone tracks. 

His style is best described by the combination of raw drum patterns, dystopian synths and the influence of EBM. Artists like DaxJ, SNTS, Etapp Kyle or I Hate Models influence his productions significantly.

He already released some heavy tracks on well known labels like COUP, Dusk Records, Falsive, 01010100 Definition Of Hard Techno and many more.
 

Everybody who wants to understand his sound has to go to the obscure realm of shadows.

Soma proudly welcome back Greek up and coming producer ANNĒ for her second solo release
with the label, entitled Blossom Tool. Since appearing on a Collective Process VA with Soma,
ANNĒ has gone from strength to strength with releases on some coveted imprints and a
burgeoning DJ calendar that has taken her across the world. With her new Soma EP, ANNĒ
continues to evolve her uniquely deep and groove focussed approach to techno.
Title track Blossom Tool hits the ground running with an infectious groove, stripped back
percussion and minimalistic synth work. Cardigan picks the pace up but once again focuses on
deep and driven drums backed with perfectly crafted percussive elements. Hideous by name
but not by nature, ANNĒ works up a superbly crafted, trippy and hypnotic track that utilises raw
grooves and subtle sweeping pads. Off Grid closes out the EP in style and ANNĒ channels early
hard groove with it’s driving bass lines, crafty synth hooks and funked out percussion.

“Collaboration, not competition” is the motto of Body To Body, Sina XX’s new collaborative
platform for harder sounds. The founder of Subtyl – one of the artist collectives responsible for
Paris' rave renaissance – has gathered an army for high-pressure techno: underage KAOS
affiliate u.r.trax, trance veteran Voiski, Cassie Raptor, K.U.S.S and Munsinger.

Physical to their core, these 5 tracks are made to disrupt the effects of social distancing. “Miroir”
opens up with u.r.trax' iconic voice, hammering a quote from Nietzsche (who said techno can’t
be smart?) on a production that reminds a faster, harder take on early 2000’s electroclash. On
“Invisible Fire”, a mind-bending synths part blurs the line between hard techno and trance,
while the flip side offers a selection of forward-thinking rave bangers.
