Alexander Johansson & Mattias Fridell are two Swedish artists actively involved in the Techno and House scene since the late '90s, with an impressive amount of records released under their names.

Next up, they combine forces for the second EP on Recorded Things. Simhall 101 EP is a stunning mix of chaos and tension, with precise layered rhythms alongside hypnotic synth lines and beautiful melodies, whooshing arps surrounded by an excellent percussion workout. It's not the first Vertical Spectrum's contribution on Faut Section. But it is his first solo ep.

We are pleased to present the premiere of Bastian Balders track "Mode_1" on Observant's forthcoming V/A, Point of View Vol. 2. 

The sixth release on Observant adds a set of new but seasoned faces to the roster. The 8 track compilation titled “ Point of View Vol. 2” includes originals by Szmer, Elisa Batti, Dekeyden, Bastian Balders, Dotdat, A Thousand Details, Obstructor and Audio Units.

"The driving funk of Szmer’s “Tiro”, leading into the deep percussive trip by Balders Audio head honcho Bastian on “Mode_1”, Obstructors’ incessant rhythmic pulsations on “Recession” and dotdat’s “Thirty Seven” with the quirky leads are for the dark rooms for a heads’ down moment. Whilst Dekeyden’s “Effem Clipping” sets the tone for a great intro with it’s cold drones on a break beat and further meandering into a deeper hypnotic territory with Audio Units’ “Crypt of Decay”. Elisa Batti and A Thousand Details finish off this compilation with their contributions “Hymenoptera” and “Yoshida-San”, both texture laden groove bombs."
