Featuring music from Lara Klart, Interactive Noise, R.Korner, Valentinø, Teuton, Stëh, Simone Zino, Gaston Fiore, Frequency Upgrade, and Yigitoglu, Vol.1 sets the tone with a fusion of hypnotic grooves, driving basslines, and cutting-edge sound design.

With Vol.2 to follow soon, this compilation stands as a statement of ARTCORE’s commitment to showcasing innovative artists shaping the sound of tomorrow.

In 2022, Indira Paganotto established ARTCORE with a clear vision in mind. The primary aim behind creating this label was to acknowledge and elevate the unique sound associated with Indira, which, until then, had not found a suitable representation in any existing label. It's widely recognized that this distinctive sound has been gaining rapid popularity and is finally receiving the recognition it rightfully deserves.

However, it's essential to note that ARTCORE will not be confined to a single genre. Instead, the emphasis will be on preserving authenticity and ensuring high-quality musical output. The label will serve as a platform that celebrates artistic expression, relevance, and musical heritage. Also, ARTCORE enables the opportunity for artists to be mentored directly by Indira is at the core of ARTCORE.

Creating playlists is something I love, finding the perfect song for every moment or mood. I'm always exploring new genres, constantly seeking out music that moves me in different ways. To me, music isn't just a hobby; it's my way of life. It's how I express myself, find joy, and connect with the world around me.

Hi, I’m Matthew. I go by “discjockeymatt” and I am a music producer and DJ - with a focus on techno with addictive genre-blending elements and the bulk of my tracks are done under this name.

I have my UNDERGROUND COLLECTIVE alias where I focus on the real deep techno, hypnotic and driving techno elements.

And my other alias DJ Craist where I like to experiment with the harder styles.

I was influenced from an early age by a CD called “CLUBBED” mixed by Judge Jules in 2002 which introduced me to the world of trance and techno. This sound is something I still believe is the true techno sound (hypnotic, loopy and groovy).

As I got older I listened to pretty much every sub-genre of EDM but nothing was as good as those early influences until I discovered hardstyle by the likes of Headhunterz, Showtek and Brennan Heart. They shaped my musical journey right through high school and somewhat still to this day.

But as I’ve got older, I’ve realised I have less in common with the modern hardstyle sound and sadly, it’s not a genre I find much inspiration from anymore.

Now that I actually want to produce and DJ, I’m able to combine what I like from that genre as well as going back to the roots of techno. I find a lot of similarities between hypnotic techno, old school hardstyle, gabber and psychedelic trance (all genres that I absolutely adore).

I find myself conflicted about where I stand regarding the modern “hard techno”. On paper I should probably dislike it due to the mass commercialisation it has brought. But for someone like myself and the genres listed above, it is pretty much a dream come true for me to live in an era where it’s easy to find a rave now with such versatility.

I hope to create my own unique twist on these sounds and use my vast range of music I have acquired over the years, share that with you in my mixes, and then produce something new that also elicits that same magic!

My goals are to knuckle down and get equally good at both production and DJ. I think this should be the number one priority before even considering mixing in clubs etc.
