The second and final interpretation of ‘My Message’ is provided by Bekø who also makes his label debut. 

Hailing from Hungary, Bekø has been a force in his country's nightlife for the better part of a decade. As a highly regarded DJ and live act, the Budapest resident has been taking music aficionados on a journey with his soulful dubbed out brand of house and techno. 

As a producer, the Hungarian artist remains choosy in his projects, with just a handful of discography credits across a seven-year stretch. With 2024 being highlighted by ‘Quintessence’, a four-track showcase via Latvian imprint ECOUL SND, Bekø now delivers his first remix of the year, making his REFRACTION debut with a charming take on ‘My Message’. 

Aimed at the dimly lit underground, it’s a clever coax of dubwise synths which reverberate against pummelling beats and lively percussive arrangements, as airy textures meander forward for further backroom magic.

With a deep passion for Dub Techno and minimal music, he owns the label ECOUL SND, where his distinctive sound shines through. His performances are known for their captivating atmospheres and profound soundscapes, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
Nicolas has released quality music on respected European labels such as Dubwax, Mixcult, Greyscale, ETUI, and Crossfade Sounds. His tracks have gained support from renowned artists like Dubfire, Andrey Pushkarev, Dana Ruh, Traumer, Claudio PRC, Priku, and Ricardo Villalobos, among others. In 2023, he released three vinyl records on Lempuryang, Mixcult, and Greyscale. The following year, 2024, saw him adding more to his discography with releases on Outlaw, Võu, and a reissue of "Outro" from his debut solo album on ECOUL SND through Mixcult. Apart from his production work, Nicolas is also a resident of Cloud 9 bar and a regular performer at the Under Festival, where he continues to push boundaries with his unforgettable sets. Nicolas Barnes has a growing vinyl discography that reflects his dedication to quality and his unique musical style. In 2023, he made his mark with three vinyl releases across different labels: Lempuryang, Mixcult, and Greyscale. These records showcased his deep, immersive sound and solidified his reputation as a skilled producer. In 2024, Nicolas continued to expand his vinyl portfolio with more releases. He dropped two tracks on the Outlaw label, another two on Võu, and revisited his earlier work by reissuing the track "Outro" from his debut solo album on ECOUL SND through Mixcult. Each release further demonstrated his talent for crafting atmospheric and textured music, appealing to both dedicated Dub Techno enthusiasts and broader electronic music audiences.
