Reflection (Polarity)

2014’s composition is centered around a feeling of longing for my native village. There is a riverbank with a large oak tree beside it there. That spot is incredibly dear to me. If I was asked to name the most beautiful place on the planet, I would choose that riverbank. In this composition, I tried to portray it and the feeling of nostalgia for the carefree summers I had spent in the village.

Lost Lagoon

A trans-Pacific cooperation at it's best. Josh (Entheogenic Psychonaught) asked me if I was interested in working on a project together. I had a basic idea that he transformed with his amazing drum, bass, organ and guitar wizardry into what you can hear. Many thanks to Josh for giving me this opportunity and for all of his time spent on this. 
It's quite amazing what can be achieved through modern technology. I never imagined being able to work with someone on the other side of the world on a music project and that someone other than my family might hear the result (showing my age here).

I began completing the lyric based on some lyrics that my late brother Russell had scribbled down some time back.  Years went by and I tried a few possible directions of taking the song.  Along came two budding songwriters called slaterr who completed the task by adding lyrics, melody and the great vocals and backing track.  We hope you enjoy hearing it.  We'd love your feedback.  This is the upbeat version; so let's call it Version 1.
