El dúo mendocino Puna, conformado por Gato Ficcardi y Daniel Vinderman, teje un entrelazado musical junto a El Remolón de Buenos Aires y la talentosa cantante y productora Fernanda Alemán. Juntos, componen la melodía de una narrativa cotidiana de Catamarca.
Inspirada en el documental "Arañitas Hilanderas" de Mariel Bomczuk, la canción relata la vida de un grupo de tejedoras en telar, nativas de Belén, Catamarca. La música captura el genuino sentir de estas mujeres, que ttejían mientras los hombres partían durante largos períodos de tiempo en búsqueda de alimentos. La espera se manifestaba en ponchos y abrigos para mitigar momentos de tristeza y expectación.
Ahora, con la meticulosa producción del dúo y los arreglos sutiles de El Remolón, acompañados por la dulce voz procesada de Fernanda Alemán, la canción emerge con tonos de cumbia folklórica, melancólica y alentadora a la vez.
"La tejedora" se erige como el primer sencillo de una serie de lanzamientos planeados por el dúo mendocino bajo el sello Fertil Discos de Buenos Aires.

KIVA : CORAZON DE LA TIERRA.

La Kiva es una celebración que durante cuatro días, Etnias de toda la tierra , se reúnen en un fuego que va tejiendo y uniendo las medicinas tradicionales,  que como Tribus de la tierra,  se les ha dado a guardar y que comparten con los demás seres.

En el ámbito sagrado de la kiva, lugar ancestral donde todas las formas , todos  los linajes  y todos los rezos se hacen uno, sólo en bien de los reinos que cuidan a la Madre Tierra.


The Kiva is a celebration that during four days, all ethnicities of
the world unite around one fire that is weaving and uniting the
traditional medicines, as Tribes of the Earth, that have been guarded
and are to be shared with all people.

In the sacred boundary of the kiva, the ancestral place of all forms,
is where all lineages and all of the prayers are made into one, only
in the positive realms that care for the Mother Earth.

This EP is inspired by the cultural heritage which the Argentines and Chileans seek to perpetuate. Ulises has developed cultural and emotional bonds towards the natives, whose struggles he feels and shares. Struggles for their own traditions, their own lands and their own existence. Thanks to the resistance of cultures like the Mapuche we can now enjoy traditional melodies and instruments, such as kultrungs, charangos and quenas, that Ulises skilfully merges with an electronic timber palette to achieve the deep organic sound that we can appreciate in this EP. 
Uña pays homage to the acclaimed quena player Uña Ramos, from the mountainous Jujuy province. Pewünguen derives from a chant in Mapudungun, the Mapuche language, that celebrates the rebirth of nature in spring. Here, the artist adopts the same chant metaphorically, to wish the rebirth of the Mapuches. 
Musician by formation, Ulises plays guitar, keyboard, and drums. Such multi-instrumental skills provide him with a broad range of sounds to blend and wedge into the electronic beat. Talking about the aesthetic he craves, Ulises stated “I want to have the possibility to choose any timber from any source I feel the music needs. No limits!” …and limitless is his desire to explore the vastness of sounds, to experiment new combinations. 
Besides the original tracks, the EP comprises four gems by Carrot Green, Steffen Kirchoff, Arutani, Coss & Iorie, who remixed Ulises’ productions.

Mictlán es un álbum conceptual a través de géneros e interpretaciones de 18 artistas sobre el inframundo según la mitología y cosmovisión prehispánica de los Aztecas.

Mictlán es el inframundo y parte del universo vertical, creado por la pareja de dioses soberanos de los muertos. Sus nueve niveles representan el viaje del Dios Tonatiuh todas las noches en las fauces de los señores de la Tierra. 

Tepeme Monamictlán es el segundo de los nueve niveles y residencia de Tepeyóllotl (dios de las montañas, los ecos y el jaguar). Esta es la región donde dos montañas chocan, produciendo ecos como señal a los muertos para cruzar al siguiente nivel.

Mictlán is a conceptual album through genres and interpretations of 18 artists about the underworld according to the mythology and pre-Hispanic worldview of the Aztecs.

Mictlán is the underworld and part of the vertical universe, created by the pair of sovereign gods of the dead. Its nine levels represent the journey of a god every night in the fauces of the lords of the Earth.

Tepeme Monamictlán is the second of the nine levels and residence of Tepeyóllotl (god of mountains, echoes and jaguar). This is the region where two mountains collide, producing echoes as a signal to the dead to cross to the next level.
