Trance Wax presents the latest single from his self-titled debut: ‘Rivers’ featuring Moya Brennan, the iconic voice of Chicane’s timeless anthem, ‘Saltwater’.

Celebrating the music Garry McCartney fell in love with as a Belfast teenager, his Trance Wax project began as an anonymous series of vinyl-only bootlegs back in 2015. In 2020, the debut Trance Wax album was released on Anjunabeats; with DJ support from Above & Beyond, Romy, Bicep, Dave Pearce, Solarstone and more.

Moya Brennan made an appearance on the album, providing vocals for ‘Rivers’. She rose to international success with the Celtic group Clannad in the 1970s. They were widely credited with bringing Celtic music to a wider audience and collaborated with U2’s Bono. Trance aficionados will remember Moya for her striking vocal on Chicane’s 2000 hit, ‘Saltwater’.

The extended mix of ‘Rivers’ (feat. Moya Brennan) is out now on Anjunabeats. Trance Wax’s self-titled debut album is available now as a limited edition vinyl via the Anjuna Music Store.
