Love for music lives in Dennis Tapecut since childhood. At that time, thanks to efforts of his older brother, he developed a great passion for collecting and listening to vinyl records. Years later this hobby turned into a total obsession with music and a vast collection of not only vinyl’s, but loads of tape records and cd's. During college years he makes a career defining decision to dedicate his life to sound developing sound and music. As a result, in the next few years Tapecut became an infamous promoter and performer of the underground dance scene in the capital of his homeland, Estonia. His accomplishments during those years range from: successful DJ, promoter and resident of several night clubs to founder of several theme-based radio shows, art director of audio-visual creative space "Art Cafe" and producer/bit-maker of a popular local Indie band “Jagaspace”.

In the following period of his career he filled himself to the top with a great variety of new challenges, responsibilities and of course music. More than ever before, he experimented with sounds and instruments; performed and collaborated with other musicians; organized concerts and festivals. His performances became more eclectic and energetic, as he started to supplement his live DJ performance with creative improvisations on ethnic instruments, such as didgeridoos and percussions. With each new experiment his thirst for knowledge about the nature of sounds grew stronger. Dennis realized that sound is a great mystery, which if searched for can provide understanding of one’s true nature and ways to heal body and spirit. This fascinating idea turned into active study of sounds’ influence on human consciousness and techniques of sound therapy. Seeking and implementing such knowledge is what kept Tapecut occupied for the last five years - in addition to his constant performances with the band and on various DJ gigs across Estonia and abroad.
