It is with great pleasure that we at Giallo Disco invite the one and only Danny Wolfers AKA Legowelt AKA the maestro Franz Falckenhaus to our prestigious ranks. The obscure, previously CDR only side project Franz Falckenhaus has stood out for many of us as one of Mr Wolfer’s most accomplished works. Full on VHS grained Cold War paranoia. Like if Fulci directed a Bond movie starring Udo Keir and Edwige Fenech. Shades of Fabio Frizzi, Minimal Synth and Aphex Twin, all combine for this cinematic masterpiece. Culled from the three CDs originally released on Strange Life Records, it is with immense pride that we provide this collection for the first time on vinyl, lovingly remastered with exceptional new art by the one and only Eric A. Lee.

This is the return of the collaborative project ‘VOFA’, by Sawf and ANFS, on Pi Electronics. The Athens based duo, that put out the label’s debut release, deliver another 4-tracker of their signature sound for the 5th Pi record. PI05.1 is a bass line oriented composition of thrilling beauty, while PI05.2 and PI05.4 provide different takes on the main PI05 theme: one leaning closer to UK breaks’ influences and the other closer to industrial, hard hitting broken beats. Pi05.3 offers a driving tool of distorted realities and tuning bass lines. All tracks showcase further focus on sound texture and dynamics’ balance, providing a perfect blend of Sawf and ANFS in joint forces as VOFA.

Formed in Palo Alto, California (U.S.A), Zru Vogue explores since 80's the psychedelic side of electronic music through avant-pop, post punk and a funky minimalist rock. Modernity reflects their art: abrasive collages of sounds from guitars, voices, synthesizers ... Defining a large trippy world full of creativity. Find here liberty and extravaganza, all of that tempered by serious cold tones.

Built like the soundtrack of a dystopian movie where main characters evolve in a hopeless future, Sci-Fi “Abandon In Place” delivers no less than height cinematic masterpieces half-way between electro and ambient registers.
From the menacing sirens of opener “Void Of Nothingness” to the melancholic synths of closing “Galactic Wreck”, passing through the Blade Runnerish vision of “Celestial Matter”, this soulful album depicts nothing but the extinction of mankind in a ending world.

Born in Greece, Pasiphae took up DJing and music production when she moved to the Netherlands five years ago. By 2016, she was confident enough to hold her own in the studio with Intergalactic Gary, with the resulting collaborative 12”, Made of Glass, winning praise for its floor-rocking rhythms and throbbing electronic instrumentation.

The Siphax EP, her first solo outing, is arguably even more solid. Packed with mutant alien funk (the superb title track), horror-fired dancefloor dystopia (throbbing opener “Tachynons”) and skewed electronic soundscapes (“Vertical Rotation”, which sounds like it could have been taken from the soundtrack of an early ‘80s art-house movie), the six tracks offer a neat summary of Pasiphae’s unique musical world.

Check out, in particular, the two-part murkiness and late night hum of “Quelque Chose De Mauvais” and “Quelque Chose De Mal”, which are creepy and clandestine in equal measure. If that’s not enough to set the pulse racing, turn your attention to EP closer “Hedera”, a beat-less but rhythmic romp through muggy, psychedelic pastures
