Introducing our new EP series 'Nuggets': Here at Goldfat we're always digging for gold, and for our first EP in the series we have unearthed four precious nuggets from four stellar artists.

First up it’s the return of Athena with ‘Bayside Groove’. From the opening note, we’re instantly transported to a waterside scene with the sound of waves, gulls, chatter and playful laughter. Flutes gently flutter, a saxophone teases and an acoustic guitar is plucked with a carefree attitude. Drums anchor the jazzy vibes into place before we’re treated to some extra funky double bass.

Introducing A Minute After Always EP - the superb debut for Integral Records from liquid legends in the making, Satl & Malaky, with features from Harland, GLXY and our resident soulster Steo on vocal duty.

Opening with the hypnotizing title track "A Minute After Always", this A-side roller is already proving to be a firm favourite. Epitomizing deep soul bass music crafted for the dancefloor, its slick, subterranean melodies and bass in perfect harmony with Steo make musical magic.
On the flip, Satl rolls out an instant classic by the name of "Lovin' U". Emotive vocals and piano hooks reminiscent of oldschool funk and soul layer wonderfully over slick punchy breaks and sly bass for ultimate vibes and groove control.

Wrapping up the 3-track vinyl format, "Serenade" sees Malaky team up with GLXY - another new duo currently making waves. Powerful and super-melodic atmospherics combined with funk-fuelled breaks, a rolling bass chord progression and gritty edits make for a truly sublime future anthem.

The France based label « Hyperactivity » strikes again with a fifth astonishing release from SBZ. This 25 year old producer from Lyon start his journey as a Hip-Hop Mc but he soon discovered the Drum & Bass movement in the early 2010s and decided to get involve in it, with enthusiasm. This 3 tracks E.P shows how gifted SBZ is when it comes to producing high quality music in different spectrum.

The Eponym 'Dawn Reflections' open the E.P with its overdrived synthetic layers & trippy atmosphere supported by a powerful rhythmic which can recall the best Technimatic tunes.

'Stress' shows a more Dancefloor angle of SBZ music with its huge bassline. An absolute banger rises to destroy everything in its path.

Finally, SBZ teams up with another gifted French producer 'Mind8Runner' to create a sweet liquid tune named Dope'. The smooth female vocals combined with rolling drums leads to something unique & soulful.
