Wrote this record in 2017, after leaving my daughter's father who used to control me and take advantage of me. 
He was an alcoholic and a serial cheater. I stayed because I was too nice. Cost me many years of my life but I'm glad to be away from that situation. I'm happy it taught me that love isn't that. 

I'm someone who does not consume alcohol because of the traumas they give me. I am a victim of abuse since I was just a child.
So I will always stand against injustices and people using the kindness of others as weakness.

I've been too nice that it's led to so many things to go WRONG. 
I just want to move with God and raise my family these days.

I'm older now and couldn't have my son twice these last two years.
I don't except anyone to care but if you choose to listen to all the music I've left behind

I really put time into track selection because I wanted to shy away from the radio hits and get right down to the nature of the music itself and it's purpose. Beef.

I think Biggie said it best himself "me and pac created a coastal beef, something between two men took over an entire nation"

These two men are totally different in terms of lyricism and lifestyle so i'm not really comparing or rating who is better or worse. I'm just trying to capture a moment in hip hop history, something that has all come from one place… the music itself.
