The original song "You're The Best" from the original Karate Kid (1984) has been one of my favorite songs since childhood.  The desire to make an EDM remix is literally what prompted me to start looking into music production at all.  

The Karate Kid series is near and dear to me.  With the final season of Cobra Kai on the horizon, I felt like it was time to bring this song back with a modern twist.  I hope to have done it justice in the eyes of fellow Karate Kid fans.

20 - Tell the Truth (mastered)

This song is about the struggle to find happiness. It came out of a time when I was really struggling to stay hopeful. A time when I felt heavy, stuck, and unsure how to move forward.

Writing “Drowning” helped me realize and deal with those feelings - and start fighting to come up for air.

It’s not really a song about giving up. It’s about realizing how easy it is to slip under... and how important it is to have something, or someone, that pulls you back up.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re barely holding it together, this is for you.

I once overheard a conversation. A friend was saying "we're just women with too much rope".  I wasn't' entirely sure what she meant, but the phrase stuck with me.
