'Stand Still' features an extended cast of ‘friends’ including the vocals of close friend Micky Green, the highly respected Sydney-born-Paris-based pop singer whose sweeping melodies add bubblegum sweetness to an otherwise high-tempo single. The final mix also comes courtesy of James David, one half of mysterious UK duo Snakehips. Old friends of Micky’s, Jimmy and Hugo have also chosen to work with another familiar face for the official music video in Director Dave Ma, the creative force behind the ARIA 2013 nominated clip for much lauded single 'Clair De Lune'.

‘Stand Still’ will be available with three incredible remixes, featuring Sydney’s Wave Racer, Future Classic alumni (and Lithuania’s Producer of the Year) Mario Basanov, and New York’s Com Truise, who brings his synth-heavy sounds to the table.

I produced and sung (!) this together with Roman grandmaster RODION. 
It's coming out on NANG on May 30th, as part of From The Stars vol II compilation as well as on a 12" featuring a full-on remix by Romanian-Argentinian producer Toomy Disco.

Now based in Berlin,  he arrives on Poker Flat with this, the first single to be lifted from his imminently arriving album debut. We don‘t want to tell you too much about the LP right now, but if these two tracks are anything to go by, be sure you‘re in for a treat!

´Don‘t Wait‘ (Extended Mix) layers Niggemann's trademark tight, percussive beats as it builds towards a surprising vocal arrival and a killer, positively hung bassline. Equally perfect for late night sessions as it will be for the coming spring summer season, basking in the sun, it´s a versatile and uplifting cut in the true Poker Flat tradition. 

A ´Moodapella Dub‘ is included in the digital release that spaces things out towards more Italo disco territory, while maintaining all the key elements for the floor.
On the B side a dubbed out synth voyage unfolds with ´Curious‘. Working snappy drums and airy, wistful FX, Niggemann skillfully tells his moody story with passionate charm. Swirling synth pads lift before a mid-point break gradually introduces a second theme, cementing the young producer‘s able hand at writing melodies and creating strong, rushing feelings.

London's very own Jason Fernandes slams the "Pigeonhole" EP to the Kombination Research front door after his recent outings on Drumcode, Alchemy and Phobiq.It's claustrophobia all the way in the eponymous opener, while mechanized stabs and tense pads make the air unbreathable. Add the gloomy subs to the whole affair, and you've got a pretty bleak, post-apocalyptic picture.Don't let the skippy beats of "Distant" fool you. Doom is on its way via stabs and hi-hats, all haunting you at the same time. The manic rhythm section pairs together with what resembles a vocal, and it seems as we are reading the diary of a madman.

Affkt is one of the key names in the Suara's history. Not only for been the mastering engineer of the label since a couple of years, but for his great contribution to our catalogue. Remixes, EPs, tracks on compilations or Showroom releases, this awesome Spanish producer is not a newby in our headquarters. He's probably one of the most eclectic producers of the current techno/house scene thanks to his unique ability to do big dancefloor bombs and blow your mind with infinite melodies and emotive beats. To be honest we prefer the 2nd option. Actually we really love Affkt's introspective and poppy tunes. And that's what he offer us "Jakla" and "Aoub": beautiful and emotive stuff. What Affkt's does best in our opinion. Two German deep tech house stars like Gorge & Tube & Berger are on the remix duties.
