The Putrid Flowers were founded in NYC with connections to the New York City Hardcore and Punk Golden Age of the late 80s and early 90s. They quickly impressed critics with their energetic live act and a social consciousness that they were able to couple with the spontaneity of old punk/hardcore acts.

Christian Krautwald is a media specialist dealing with social websites and podcasts production. He developed and produced a show for Strikem (Later called strike:media) called “Exposed!” which ran between 2005-2007. The show Exposed! gained local recognition and sustained up to 1000 hits a month along side 100-200 live attendees per concert where he recorded live music sessions for local artists to help them gain exposure.

Christian has experience in social networking, media production, as well as website design and marketing. Christian started his career in IT and later continued his education at the Art Institute of Atlanta where he studied for Media Production.
