On “Hot Dreams”, the title single off Timber Timbre's third studio album for Arts & Crafts, Taylor Kirk and collaborator Simon Trottier daub vibrant colour across the restless evolution of the band’s earthy, angular palette. Seductive guitars drape over languid synthesizers, animating an otherwise reticent Kirk singing in his singular low intonation. The consonance of Mika Posen’s strings mingle with vintage contributions from Mathieu Charbonneau on keys and Olivier Fairfield on drums. Guest Colin Stetson envelops the backing vocals of Romy Lightman (Tasseomancy, Austra) in timeless cycles of velvet saxophone. The breathtaking video by Scott Cudmore and Michael LeBlanc clearly defines the new space of Hot Dreams' Timber Timbre, slathered in viscous tonality: new sonic admissions, ringing sensuality and caprice, neon and haze. Hot Dreams is Timber Timbre's most fully realized work in a sinuous and infinitely rewarding catalogue of vivid imagistic music.

A few years ago, Moby (born Richard Melville Hall) decided that it was time for a change so he packed up and moved from his beloved New York to sunny LA. This fresh, new outlook permeates his 11th studio album, Innocents. One day, as the story goes, he was riding around town listening to “Morning Becomes Eclectic” on local radio station KCRW, and he heard a Damien Jurado song come on the air — and the rest is history. 

“Originally, ‘Almost Home’ was a fully finished song,” recalls Moby. “But I love Damien’s approach to melody and lyrics so I gave it to him as an instrumental. What he did was much better than anything I’d come up with.”

Σtella returns with her sophomore album “Works For You”. Following on from her acclaimed self-titled 2015 debut, this record is set for release in February 2017.  

Written and arranged by Σtella (with the exception of two tracks -“Nest” and “Walk Like I Taught You” - co-written with Velissarios Prassas), the album was recorded in Athens in 2016 and produced by artist and producer Nteibint and Σtella.

“Works For You” tells stories - its eleven pop songs talk about love and friendship, and celebrate introspection. With this album, Σtella has taken her music two steps forward, further refining her sound and continuing with her ambitious blends of pop and singer-songwriter influences to create her tightest and most mature work yet.

"Works For You" will be released on LP (with mp3 download code), CD and digital album via Inner Ear.
