CODECAST XY - Concrete Gold -  Scalability

The first podcast for 2022 comes from the Dutch DJ and Producer Rambadu, who is born and based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. 

Rambadu entered the world of electronic music at an early age through various experiences in his hometown. Driven by the love and passion for this music, he got into DJing and soon after that he was often playing around town. 

For the past 12 years, he has devoted most of his time to producing, and as of recently launched his own label - Rambadu. Next to his solo productions on his imprint, some other releases include: a remix for Vanoni on Ritualism Records, his solo EP ''AJNA'' on Hypnus Records, and an upcoming appearence on Claudio PRC's imprint 012 on V/A Systema Naturae I along side: Claudio PRC, Forest On Stasys and Dycide.

Rambadu's sound can be characterized by its floating energy, organic sounds and droning atmospheres. In this mix he demonstrates fluid mixing skills over three decks, where the listener is invited to experience a dynamic endeavour. Gradually changing and radiating positivity, this set shows Rambadu's inspiration from nature. Press play and enjoy now!

Artscope Radio #34 : Martyn Päsch [Saint-Tropez / France]

In the beginning of 2018, he started his own record label called KVLTÖ RECORDS, focused on Deep Techno, Ambient, Experimental, Hypnotic and Techno sounds.

His world of music is being built in an increasingly distinct style, perhaps as a fixed part of deep techno. Abundance of synth melody with trance charm. The kick that leads the power and the percussion that supports it. And ironically, the sudden appearance and disappearance of the break makes his music more self-established.

Martyn Päsch continues to rise in the Global Scene of Electronic Music.

Latmos is a Finnish Techno producer, DJ and live artist, known from his handcrafted and hypnotic tracks. All of his music is made live with hardware only. He first frew attention in the Techno community with his strong debut 12” Pool of Intuition EP, released on Samuli Kemppi’s and Frederik Hatsav’s label Blacklabel Distillery. Latmos has released music on labels such as Subosc and Cinus. 

The music of Latmos has been supported around the globe by well respected DJs like: Oscar Mulero, Patrik Skoog, Dimi Angelis, P.E.A.R.L, Denise Rabe, Magna Pia, Dino Sabatini, Vincent Neumann, Samuli Kemppi and Juho Kusti to name a few.

Latmos is known from his adventurous style as a DJ. He is able to transition effortlessly from a different mood or tempo to another and keep the listeners always on their toes. As a verstile DJ Latmos can adapt into many different venues and occasions, always bringing something fresh and interesting to the table.

Originally from a metalcore and hardcore background he has always enjoyed electronic and
experimental music. Heavily influenced by this and the techno scene in Leipzig, Germany with
its well known Institut fuer Zukunft his focus are impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds and
dark and eerie atmospheres. As a founding member of PVC he is also co-organising raves in
clubs and woods around the Leipzig area. For a few years now he has been exploring the world
of producing. Releasing on Labels like Crescent London, Further Sessions, Proselytizing or
Charybdis he is establishing himself in the scene always seeking to refine his sound.

Our next artist was born in 1973 in Sardinia. He fell in love with music at the age of 15 years, starting to frequent a local radio station and then intrigued by the DJ world trying to understand its secrets. The first gigs and then the residence at the k2 club and for 3 years at the Sueno de Ibiza club, one of the most important techno club in Italy. Later entry into the Sound of Mix roaster, which led him to play in many European events and clubs. Slowly the sound changes up to the hypnotic and dark techno, never too fast and with a deep groove. Currently he is a very active producer on both  vinyl and digital with releases on @planetrhythmrec, @seancelimited , Subsist, @attseries, @nowayrec, Black rec. and many others. He also carries on his very personal ambient project, with 2 albums released on @anay_jp and the monobass project with his friend of all time DJDatch. Sound is his work, mix and master engineer, sound designer and teacher of sound synthesis. Soon he is scheduled for two new vinyl releases on @seancelimited and @nowayrec.
