The EP opens with the title track, "Siolim Suspense" - a dark, rolling groover marked by precise drum programming and subtle atmospherics. Each of the following tracks offers its own distinct flavor, while staying firmly rooted in Shaun’s signature style: functional, minimal, and built for the floor.

To close the EP, Cravo (Hayes Collective) reworks Siolim Suspense into a peak-time weapon, injecting extra percussive drive and forward momentum while preserving the hypnotic tension of the original.

Soma label heads Slam are back on home turf with another high pressure release, the Sense Of Purpose EP. The pairing of Stuart McMillan & Orde Meikle hit hard once again with 3 expertly crafted tracks that give a nod to the roots of the tougher side of Techno.

Opening track Capture harks to the unrelenting nature of early 2000s Techno. A sturdy blend of hammering percussive elements, backed by rebellious vocals make for a typically high octane track Slam. False maintains the pressure but has a more warped and hypnotic hook that adds even darker overtones. Episode closes out the EP and has a trademarked Slam groove element whilst still remaining rough and ready as added dubbed out atmospherics and pads play to the tracks deeper momentum.

Athens based DJ & producer, Jerm, debuts on Soma with a massive new release, Electric City EP. A relative new face to the greater Techno world, Jerm is quickly ascending the ranks with multiple hard hitting original productions and remixes which are garnering attention across the board. His debut Soma release sets down strong roots with direct and unrelenting Techno, moving from hard edged industrial sounds, to jacked up 90s flavoured elements. Also appearing for the first time on Soma, in the form of a remix, is UK Techno maverick, Manni Dee.

Control Theory opens the release with powerhouse beats and eviscerating synths and a colossal amount of attitude. Manni Dee’s remix of Control Theory feeds on that attitude and take it up even more with clear nods to the rapid Birmingham sound. Glass Chinn keeps the intensity flowing with galloping percussion that leads directly into a dark, driving and industrial-esq affair. Maiden Voyage works in more hypnotic elements whilst still retaining Jerm’s concussive and direct sound. The jacking and funked up vibes of Booze Cruise can be found as a Bandcamp exclusive.

This track was originally written while in lockdown period in Rome, and was refreshed in October, with reversed vocals in German.
It tells about strength and spleen with an ebm and industrialtechno touch.

Lady Maru started producing music in 1994 with an electric guitar, some toy percussions and a tascam 4 track recorder. She has become quickly active as a noise guitarist and casio player for post punk and no wave bands.
Her dj career started djing in 2003 at Metaverso a small roman "cult "club and at underground raves and parties trying to combine 2 influences: post punk and techno. Her actual sound as a producer and as a dj is mostly based on acidtechno with industrial and ebm influences. She recently owns her own label for acid tunes Acid boiler coalition and works musically for other projects too,such as dance, theater, performances, bands.
