Tsunami rocking upon and over the surface. Its IY's remix is fine rich and dry both mental dark stomping and odd hard hitting one: simple unique. CLR079 is Flug´s first release on Chris Liebing´s internationally regarded imprint, a four track EP with original productions by the man who has become one of Argentina´s most promising up and coming Techno artists. The quality and depth of his productions has gained him the respect of numerous famous colleagues and has placed his tracks in the record bags and playlists of some of the most significant global Techno players. 

The EP consists of the title track “Sincrodestino”, as well as further secret weapons “The Following”, “Resistance” and “Consequence”, four faultlessly produced pieces of up-to-date, uncompromising Techno. After playing out Flug´s tracks all over the planet for years, it was only a matter of time that Chris Liebing would offer this gifted and skilled producer to release some of his tracks. This is the fourth release on Eye Teeth, the techno sublabel of Interdimensional Transmissions, by IT family members Kit Geary & Israel Vines as KGIV. This is their second record, following their heavy debut on Horizontal Ground. On this record we find them exploring the subtleties of slow change within a techno track with the outstanding heady “Mockingbird” and through the rocker “From Fragments”. The B Side features an unsung hero of American techno - Borrowed Language veteran Jeff Pietro - with the sonic masterpiece of his hypnotic “Mockingbird” remix. 

We started this sublabel as way of exploring pure and experimental techno in an entirely contemporary context (where IT often uses historical lenses and a wider musical context). This is Techno from Detroit and America, not Detroit Techno. We would like to see American Techno evolve, and this new imprint is an attempt to be a catalyst in that arena.

This EP was pre-mastered by Neel at Enisslab Studio in Rome. The vinyl was mastered by Carl at Trutone and pressed at Archer Records in Detroit.

Highlighting sets everywhere from Awakenings during ADE to Spazio 900 in Rome, the tracks are hard-hitting master studies in industrial-edged techno. ‘Going Down’ is built around a deep menacing vocal, as subterranean bass drums, thundering kicks and a sinister synth line combine for a high impact finish. ‘Future’ is a chunky stomper perfect for the winter warehouse party season, as multi-layered synths and effects rub shoulders with heavy-set drums to ensure this one hits its target.

2017’s first Drumcode release comes in the form of chart topping regular Julian Jeweil, who’ll be putting out his first solo effort on the label. Jeweil’s ‘Rolling EP’ showcases his skill as a producer and kicks off with the emphatic title track ‘Rolling’. The perfect soundtrack for the early hours in the club, this sweaty affair proves just why he’s at the top of the game right now. ‘Venice’ and ‘Blue’ illustrate his signature sound to a tee, with the EP’s final track ‘Traffic’ an acid-tinged behemoth, guaranteed to light up any set.
