Hey there, happy to be on 00185fm again and back with 𝖑𝖔𝖜-K.
 
Today's guest is a friend of mine that goes by the name of ArtSaves. 
His music career started in Tehran in 2012, where nightclubs were prohibited by law and his performances used to happen within the confines of undisclosed parties. 
During the years he kept affirming himself as both producer and performer.

Last year he released his latest EP ‘Chimera’ under his own imprint Kopi / ک پ ی. 
‘Chimera’ compasses a melange of ambient and industrial techno, ambiguously drawing inspiration from Artsaves' Iranian heritage while targeting the concepts of identity, authenticity and belonging.

Up to today he is still contributing in pushing and amplifying the Tehran scene.

From delicate beats to hardcore techno, he defies categorization, leaving the dance floor pulsating. Passionate about the Tehran scene, renowned for its haunting sounds, ArtSaves amplifies its experimental vibe. He currently splits his time between Vancouver and Tehran.

Passionate about the music scene from his homeland, renowned for its haunting sound, ArtSaves is invested in promoting the work of Iranian artists and their music through his label "Kopi". He currently splits his time between Vancouver and Tehran.

Idlefon is Hesam Ohadi, a computer musician and sound artist
based in Tehran, Iran. His music is mainly associated with the
broad spectrum of IDM, Ambient, and Glitch styles. Idlefon tends
to make music which is relevant and in harmony with the urban life
in his hometown of Tehran. He is also one of the co-founders and
runners of the experimental art label BITROT.
Ohadi started his music career as a drummer for a metal band
when he was a teenager experimenting with in Doom Metal and
Death Metal styles. He then gravitated towards electronic music
through his growing interest in industrial and post-metal music. His
first experience in the field of music was the soundtrack for the
animated short “The Radiologist’s Room” by Arash Radkia (http://
bit.ly/2l8AZCF). He then released 4 tracks as a third of an split
album called “Spotty Surfaces” along with fellow musicians
Siavash Amini and Nima Pourkarimi.
His first appearance as Idlefon is for his debut LP “Intensive
Collectivity Known As City” which was released on the American
label Tympanik Audio. Afterwards he released his EP “Submarine”
on the same label in 2015. His second LP “Coldstream” was
finished in late 2016 and is due to be released in mid 2017. The
album reveals Idlefon’s deeper experiments into Ambient, IDM
and Industrial styles. Faded and processed vocals can also be
heard throughout the album among deep pads and harsh rhythms
that mark his familiar sounds.

Behrang Najafi, born 1989 is a musician and sound artist based in Tehran,Iran.
He began his musical journey by playing guitar and drums in some local bands, and later made a transition to electronic experimentations in 2010.First under the moniker 'Bescolour', his solo project, and later as the computer artist for the alt rock band ' Telecraze'. Alongside his solo edeavour he has also produced and perfromed as a member of the electronic duo "Temp-Illusion.He's also a co-founder of the “SET Experimental Art Events”, a gathering of artists that organizes live show events and helps promote the experimental music scene. He's working on his debut after several collaborations and his focus on live performances.

Tehran, Iran native Khashaya Pouryamin, also known as “Fedor K’ has been surrounded by music since the young age of 12. He started off first with playing the guitar and by 17, he began playing in several underground rock bands where he perfected his skill with the bass guitar as his main instrument. Over the years, Fedor continued to play the piano and even began writing his own music and songs . Shortly after, he was introduced to the sounds of electronic music. After 2 years of being fully immersed in the genre he was rapidly growing to love, he produced remixes and original songs that were supported by some of the top artists around the world including Maceo Plex and Loco Dice. By 2012, Fedor began releasing music on several different labels from several different countries and received very high praise from fans around the world. As of 2014, Fedor K continues to release his talented sound with his newest EP on its way and has now become the latest resident for Vancouver, Canada’s up and coming music label / events company, You Plus One. His obvious talent for music and productions promises a very exciting break through into the North American music scene.

Tegh is the solo project of Tehran based musician and sound artist Shahin Entezami (b 1991,He started working on Experimental music in 2010 , after 5 years of experience in Hip-Hop music . His music is mostly associated with Ambient,Drone,Experimental genres . His debut full length album " Night Scenes " released in 2014 and his latest release is an EP album " Through The Winter Woods " ( a collaboration with Kamyar Tavakoli released in 2015 ).He is also a member of Artirial and Temp-Illusion projects .

The Iranian producer, ArtSaves, is known for his unpredictable, ominous sound which ventures into the experimental territory. ArtSaves music career started in Tehran in 2012, where nightclubs are prohibited by law and his performances remained within the confines of undisclosed parties. The producer recently released his latest album ‘Home Is Where the Hatred Is’ under his own imprint Kopi / ک پ ی. His music compasses a melange of ambient and industrial techno ambiguously drawing inspiration from his Iranian heritage while targeting the concepts of identity, authenticity and belonging.
As an alumnus of the Red Bull Music Academy in Berlin 2018, ArtSaves was mentored by musical luminaries during his residency. Shifting between rhythmically dismal delicate beats to hardcore techno, he prefers to be indefinable but leaves the dance floor pulsating. ArtSaves is invested in amplifying the Tehran scene which is known for its highly experimental and haunting sounds. He currently resides between Vancouver and Tehran.
