The Audiojack duo team up with cohort Kevin Knapp to release their heavy club weapon ‘Vibrate’ on Hot Creations. Berlin based Re.You and former Minus mainstay and Fun Records founder Barem take the reins for remix duty.

Making his first appearance on the label with this remix, Re.You’s other releases can be found on Cocoon, Mobilee and Souvenir alongside second remixer Barem, a talented producer from Argentina. Texas-bred, San Francisco-schooled and Berlin based producer Kevin Knapp is no stranger to the Hot Creations imprint, having released his successful two track ‘The Heft EP’ earlier this year. Originally from Leeds, and now based in Ibiza, Audiojack are set to celebrate a decade of music-making with exciting new releases forthcoming on the likes of Crosstown Rebels, 2020 Vision, Tsuba and their own label Gruuv.

123 How Many Fucks [RNG Remix - DJ WOLF e.'s "SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY" Extended Re-Edit] - Erika Jayne - ELECTRONICA

"How Many Fucks" was the eleventh single in a string of nonstop dance club hits for Erika Jayne; as an artist known for breaking all the rules, this track is definitely her most explicit. Erika Jayne (the naughty alter ego of Mrs. Erika Girardi) joined the cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" in its sixth season. She recently released a tell-all memoir with Brian Moylan, "Pretty Mess", with color photos and personal stories. "I hope my intimate story can inspire readers to become their own strong, confident and vibrant pretty messes", she said in the book's press release. I used the RNG Remix as a base to create what I feel is (to date) one of my best efforts at re-editing. I began by adding my standard 96 beat intro and outro making the track DJ friendly and some major cut and paste which completely rearranged the structure of the original remix. I added vocal samples throughout the track, providing more energy and bringing it to the final length of 7 minutes and 54 seconds. The end result, a fun albeit a dirty piece of ELECTRONICA that is simply perfect for evening / late night hours even with its low tempo of 123 beats per minute. The clever name (read between the lines) is so Erika Jayne and perfectly appropriate. Just three months after the dropping of the 100% analog tracks ROLAND RAT / BRAIN STORM (BNR075) we proudly presents two idiosyncratically interpretations by 2 legends in electronic music - 'ROLAND RAT' got reworked by techno pioneer and our hero LFO (Warp Records), who sampled the rat and moduled it to death :) 

The second Remix comes from 'the baron of techno' DAVE CLARKE together with MR JONES, who turned 'BRAIN STORM' into a straight and dark pumpin' monster. Enjoy!

Exzakt's first EP on Monotone since 2007 is a collection of various tracks that have not been on vinyl. These tracks were hand selected by fans out of 17  tunes to chose from. First we have Madrid Nights which has only been heard in Exzakt DJ sets and was a fan favorite that has often been requested for release but has not until now. This song is a deep look into Exzakt's progression in his sound. This track explores many emotions through ever changing soundscapes. A2 is an excellent remix of Larry McCormick's Escape track which originally released on Datapunk in 2004. 214 completely dismantles the parts to make a unique composition that turns into a journey and its perfectly fit for a proper vinyl release. The B starts with an Exzakt Classic that from the start screams to be heard on wax. Me & My 808 is a heavy, ripping tune that will service any dance floor. Last is an emotional piece that you can tell from the title, Love Hate. Again Exzakt goes deep on this one but still keeps the beat pumping like his tracks often do. This is another solid Exzakt Record that should be in any Electro Collectors record box.
