HeartCake fut crée en 2010 sous l'impulsion de Baptiste Frelat et Benoît Villemont, tous deux producteurs de musique électronique approchant les 18 ans.

Considérant le label comme piste de lancement et propulseur à l’heure de la French Touch 2.0, les premiers morceaux à voir le jour furent des essais dans l’exercice de style de la House Filtrée menés par Straccia Stellar, Alvin Baxter et Roman d'Amour, tous disponibles en libre téléchargement pour stimuler la diffusion et l’échange.

C'est la naissance d’une communauté et sa rapide évolution entraînant la pollinisation de notre musique sur le web qui a permis une rencontre importante avec le producteur parisien Lifelike, checkpoint clé dans l'histoire du label. 
Il sorti le single "Make Love Tonight" de Roman d'Amour chez Computeur Science, qui fut par la suite joué par des milliers de DJ de Londres à Miami. 

Début 2012, HeartCake prend une autre dimension et les sorties se font à une échelle plus importante. Monté et saupoudré en famille, le Heartcake, s'est façonné une nouvelle identité et un nouveau management pour l'emmener plus loin.



HeartCake is born under the impulsion of Baptiste Frelat and Benoît Villemont, both elctronic-music producers while they were reaching their 18th birthday in 2010.

Considering the Label as a perfect springboard in the French Touch 2.0 era. The first releases can be seen now as some first attempts in the Filtred House style led by artists such as Straccia Stellar, Alvin Baxter, Roman d'Amour and available in free download to boost the sharing and distribution.

The birth of a community and its fast evolution led to the online pollination of our music until it reached the decisive ears of Parisian producer Lifelike, a decisive encounter in the label history. He remixed and re-released Roman d'Amour's single 'Make Love Tonight' on his own label Computer Science in 2011, and allowed it to be playlisted by an international community of Djs, from London to Miami.

In 2012, HeartCake took another dimension and the released are more frequent and largely distributed online. Home baked, the HeartCake built itself a brand new identity and a new management to go higher.
