This song is one of the most personal things I’ve written. It came from a place inside me that I kept locked away for so long — the part of me that was scared to be soft, scared to trust, scared to believe I was worthy of real love again. But sometimes one person comes along who makes you drop the armour without even trying… and that’s what this whole track is about.

“Love You Too” is me being vulnerable but powerful at the same time. It’s me finally saying the words I never had the courage to speak out loud. It’s about loving that one special person so deeply that it changes you — makes you kinder with yourself, braver with your heart, stronger in your soul. It’s about finding someone who doesn’t fix you, but helps you fix yourself. Someone who sees the real me beneath the pain, the laughter, the mistakes, the walls… and still chooses me.

Skid Row is one of the hardest lyrics I’ve ever written, because the story affected me so deeply. 

Skid Row is a haunting portrait of life at society’s edge. After watching a documentary about the area, it felt like a punch to the heart—tears rose at the thought that these could be our own children, our friends, or our family members. In Skid Row, people struggle with addiction, homelessness, and a constant fight for survival. Yet behind every broken moment lies a human story: lost dreams, fragile hope, and a longing for dignity. The song reflects this harsh reality with empathy, reminding us that no one chooses this life, and all deserve compassion and understanding.

I have been writing songs since1959 until the present. As a songwriter, I am more than happy with the wide range of songs I have written over the years. But my musical skills are quite limited and the early demos on Soundcloud are of me singing  and accompanying myself on guitar or latterly ukulele. I can strum the strings well enough, but there my skills end.

Recently I discovered Suno AI and the results astounded me. I could finally produce demos of my songs to be proud of. I am currently going thru my catalogue of songs and producing AI assisted demos. I know many musicians turn away from AI but it has a place for me. There is no other way I could have obtained some 300 demos to this level. I do not and do not intend to look for any reward except the satisfaction that hearing my own songs gives me.
