A song I found to be difficult to achieve what I wanted with. Sometimes I find that Suno will get something very wrong and no amount of regenerating helps. The AI seems to remember what it has done and the reiterations just get worse and worse. However I persevered, and changed what I was doing with the prompts and slowly it improved. This was one of three versions I kept and it won on several counts. Funnily enough, the AI seems to have remembered the original melodies to a sgnificant degree, it has developed the tunes as it has a wont to do.
This is a very short song, which is why the instrumental section are so long, but I was surprised the the AI did not repeat any of the verses or the bridge, I wish I knew why!  But as I keep telling anyone who will listen, the process is one in which Randomness often wins.
I wrotw this song in December 1975, as far as I can remember, it is the first public recording I have made. I did try to use my own voice BUt with the early failures, I tried one of the Suno Personas - this one I called, Orion Vox. Just having a little fun, giving them names.

Felt like letting go today. A rock number seemed to match the mood I was in. Some times I am amazed how closely a melody generated by Suno can come to the melodies  sang the lyrics with myself. When I write, I don't conciously work on the melody, I just sing the lyric.  the natural rythm of the words?
Any way I loved this one as soon as I heard heard the vocal start. All I had to do was to extend the song as it ran into the 4 minute max on Suno. I spliced the two parts of the song together in Audacity and did a little editing to suit my tastes. 
One thing I like about V4, is that Suno does not repeat lyrics that are not repeated in the lyric I supply. In other words the structure of the song is exactly what I wanted and prompted.

I have been writing songs since1959 until the present. As a songwriter, I am more than happy with the wide range of songs I have written over the years. But my musical skills are quite limited and the early demos on Souncloud are of me singing  and accompanying myself on guitar or latterly ukulele. I can strum the strings well enough, but there my skills end.

Recently I discovered Suno AI and the results astounded me. I could finally produce demos of my songs to be proud of. I am currently going thru my catalogue of songs and producing AI assisted demos. I know many musicians turn away from AI but it has a place for me. There is no other way I could have obtained some 300 demos to this level. I do not and do not intend to look for any reward except the satisfaction that hearing my own songs gives me.

I am still writing and hope to have many more years of songs left in me, Enjoy if you can and I would love to hear your comments on the tracks, if the music moves you at all.
