Psytrance pirate and captain of the World People Production boat, artist and producer, TOTO (also one of the Skyhigh Pirates with Mark Skyhighatrist) is joining us in today’s Festival Frequency to set the mood for the special Mad Max themed 10th anniversary edition of the 2016 BLAST OFF FESTIVAL. Extra appetizers after the talk are two mixes, from Skyhigh Pirates and also World People Prod’s DJ EDELL.

We made this Project basicaly to have fun,
and after sold our first track we discovered that people enjoy it ,

entries: the Brazilian artist Kontrol Z.

Born in Brazil and currently based in Vienna, Austria, Felipe Zulli aka Kontrol Z is an innovative producer who has been experimenting with sounds for over 10 years. His music is influenced by older and classic references of the psytrance scene and strongly carries Purple Hexagon’s pumping style. First member of Brazilian Neuromind Records, and now also collaborating with GloOm Music & Purple Hexagon Records, Kontrol Z has played at festivals and parties across the world, among which Mundo de OZ and Universo Paralello (Brazil), Masters of Puppets (Hungary) and Fantasy Forest (Slovakia).
In this show Kontrol Z is now presenting on his new Ep, a fine collection of 3 tracks that feature twisted grooves, a fusion of digital and organic soundscapes and a journey towards science fiction. Al this carried by serious and consistent basslines mixed with a tongue in cheek edge attitude, that is his trademark.
