With inspiring musicality and a heady, sample-heavy aesthetic – Arure’s music evokes mysterious visions and tripped out vibes akin to the likes of Amon Tobin and Massive Attack, while rooted in styles as diverse as nu-jazz, dubstep, trip-hop, and IDM. Whether taking influence from trip-hop / experimental greats, or today’s pervading variants of “bass music”, the ‘Found Objects’ LP escapes strict categorization, and follows no singular blueprint. With each track, Arure explores new sonic spaces, cycling through constant new variations on a theme. With ‘Found Objects,’ Arure proves himself a capable producer, and a powerful new voice in electronic music.
