Following his Cityfox debut, we are elated to present the spectacular set from rising underground talent, Rinzen. Taking over the King's Hall during our long-awaited return to the dance floor at Cityfox: Regenerate, the budding Los Angeles DJ/producer made a statement with his ninety-minute set ranging from deep and dark soundscapes to emotive selections. Always one to take a cinematic approach to his productions and performances, our new friend delivered a grandiose journey to remember. With a momentous trajectory that has seen Rinzen release music on seminal labels such as maustrap and This Never Happened, we can't wait to see what the future holds for the emerging artist. An annual fixture in the calendar for many, Solid Grooves’ summer Various Artist offering welcomes a project showcasing a UK label at the forefront of the scene. Having recently returned as a family across sold out shows in London and Bristol, late August welcomes this year’s highly-anticipated drop from a wealth of SG favourites and close friends.

Lost In Ether is 3 years old! Thank you for your constantly support. For this occasion we have something special - real legend of techno music. Takaaki Itoh at his best!

BIO:
Techno hit Japan hard in the early 90s, TAKAAKI ITOH was quickly impressed and intrigued with this new sound. The unique style of beats revealed the gateway to a new world of underground music in Japan - something he had never heard before. In 1994, Takaaki began to organize his own techno parties in his home of northern Japan.

By providing a fantastic lineup, his parties quickly became a success. In 1996, having decided that it was time to start making his own tracks, His Japanese style of techno was pure, unique and underground - nothing that had been heard before in Europe.

His reputation and popularity quickly spread all over the continent. He was becoming recognized as Japan's most underground and respected techno DJ.

As of 2001 he was getting offers to perform at large clubs and festivals all over Europe, like Awakenings, Berghain, Tresor. Promoters wanting him, party people loving him, Takaaki Itoh took the next step and started his own label Wols. Passion led to success and he became recognized as the top of the next generation of techno music.
