Story Behind this track:
The Gnossiennes are a collection of works for piano written in the late 19th century and the first one is probably the most well known. They were highly experimental pieces, lacking the usual form and structure of classical music, not even having bar lines to denote the strong beats and phrasing. The term gnossienne was also an invention of Erik Satie’s, although where he derived it from is subject to debate. One theory is that it comes from the name of the Cretan city “knossos” or “gnossus”, home of the story of King Minos and the minotaur. A number of archeological sites linked to that myth were excavated around the time that Satie was composing the Gnossiennes, so it seems a reasonable theory. Especially given the fact that his interest in ancient Greece and reimagining of its music had already been the subject of his Gymnopedies (also for piano), composed just a few years earlier. This music may not sound experimental to our ears today, which perhaps evidences how influential it has been.

Within the music itself, harmonically there are three chords in the left hand, shifting hypnotically between the 1st and 4th most of the time. The notes above in the right hand don’t fit naturally within those chords and seem to float above. The rhythm that is produced places emphasis on the first, second and fourth beats, so whilst it feels like it should be a dance, somehow it is not quite. Although there are no bar lines, that swaying effect feels like it should be three beats in the bar (like a waltz), but it’s actually closer to four, so more like a waltz with a stumble. :-). Again, fitting nicely with the definition of Surrealism.
In addition, the distance between the hands is often quite extreme (very low notes in the left hand, very high notes in the right hand). This produces bare, translucent harmony, which fits with another of the musical directions that Satie gives – “tres luisant” (‘very shiny’ or ‘gleaming’). This is so very different from the full texture of the romantic music of the 19th century and which remained the dominant form at the time Satie was writing this. Perhaps some of the incongruity and strangeness is therefore in hearing this piece against the works of other famous composers of the time, particularly someone like Wagner whose final opera, Parsifal, was completed just six years before the Gnossiennes, or Elgar and the Pomp and Circumstance marches. You could argue that the latter was perhaps a bit old fashioned for its time anyway, but the point is the musical texture and sound world couldn’t be more different to what Satie was creating.

Whether appreciated by ears of its time or not, to my ears of today it is simply a lovely, if not somewhat quirky, piece.

This frequency brings transformation and an increased amount of love energy, clarity of mind, awareness, activated creativity, and inner peace. It also has the ability to activate your imagination, intention, and intuition to operate for your highest and best purpose.

The late Dr. Masaru Emoto discovered that, on a molecular level, water crystals can be affected by sound. His water experiments show the effect sound frequencies can have on water and since our bodies are 65% water, it stands to reason that this love frequency can have positive benefits on our bodies and spirits.

Transcendence often refers to an experience with the divine or God, which is conceived as absolute, eternal, and infinite. Negative theology and mysticism recognizes the limits of conceptual understanding or linguistic articulation of that which transcends the phenomenal world. Negative theology in particular is an example of an attempt to describe what is transcendent by negating what is finite and relative.

Pain Of Being Human in Solfeggio Frequency 528Hz Apple Digital Master

Arya Saber was born in Iran. At the age of eight, he began taking violin and music theory lessons with Maestro Iraj Kaavandi. During this period, he began practicing repertoire from the Tehran Conservatory of Music. At the age of twelve, he practiced Abolhasan Saba’s Radif studies – a focus on the Iranian modal system written for violin by Maestro Saba. After a few years, Arya continued his studies in Iranian violin techniques (based on  Parviz Yahaghy and Habibollah Badie repertoires) with Maestro Mehran Mohtady. It was at the age of sixteen, when he met Maestro Siavash Zahiroddini, who steered him towards Western classical music. As a result of Arya’s hard work in Western classical violin, he became the youngest member of Tehran’s National T.V Symphony Orchestra at the early age of seventeenth. He remained in the orchestra under conductor Dr. Mortezapour and concert master Homayoun Rahimian until he immigrated to Canada.  

Once in Canada, Arya continued working on Western classical repertoire with Maestro Gabriel Friedman. At this time, Arya had already obtained his Math Diploma from Iran and once in Canada was accepted into the Biotechnology Program at York University. It was after two years of studying Science that Arya decided to pursue his passion and change his major to Music composition.

While attending the York University Music program, Arya also performed in the York Symphony Orchestra under conductor Dr. Mark Chambers. Meanwhile, Arya had taken composition lessons with Professors Michael Coghlan and David Mott. He also studied with Maestro Jacques Israelievitch, Canada's foremost chamber musician, concertmaster and violinist of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. At the same time, working with Professors Dorothy De Val and Irene Markoff enhanced Arya’s knowledge outside of the classical realm. 

After getting his Bachelor of Honors in fine Arts, specializing in Music Composition and Conducting, Arya continued his Master’s degree with a focus on composition. Alongside of his studies, he also received private composition and orchestration lessons from Maestro Adil Babirov, one of Azerbaijan’s foremost composers. 

Arya also performed at many cultural events and attended numerous concert tours in North America. In addition, he has been directing and producing his own instrumental music videos. 

Currently, Arya is working towards completing his Ph.D. degree in Music  Composition in Toronto, Canada. 

In the near future, Arya looks forward to having his own concert tours and sharing his music with people all over the world - a dream that he's had since childhood.
