Interesting intro, immediate attack from the vocals moving the accompaniment into second layer. Good chord progression solo at around 1:30.  Nice chords also at 2:00. The downtuning works wonders for the guitar vibe. Nice sound and good work.

We were so happy with our song Under the Sun that we wanted to try a stripped down version with just acoustic guitar and our two voices.  Since the song was in C (and it's Cat's favourite letter) and I didn't want a "campfire" sound to the recording I decided to try tuning the guitar4 steps lower for a deeper rattling kind of sound.  We're really happy with the way it turned out!

The friendly is almost over, and things have gotten ugly. Up six to nil, and showing no signs of slowing down, the Chivas are outclassing their opponent so badly it’s embarrassing. They aren’t even trying anymore. Another effortless breakaway, another striker left completely alone. The showboating has gotten out of hand. Benjamín Galindo runs up to the opposing keeper one-on-one, looks up towards the roaring crowd with a smile, and deliberately kicks the ball outside the left goalpost as if to say: “We’re not just beating you — we’re humiliating you." The Bearded Man hangs his head in shame as he sits injured on the sidelines. Sadly, not every bearded story is a victory. There have been some pretty low times on his path to perpetual righteousness. Still, he took some comfort in knowing that Las Chivas would probably go on to win it all later that year. Seasons change, and every cloud has a silver lining. Sitting on the bench next to him was Chris Lago, the man whose music would end up inspiring TBM for decades.

As the City Rumbles Underneath hit the music scene in late 2012 with a unique blend of modern heavy beats and swirling, shoegaze like guitars and synths.  The band consists of Cat Forsley and Ashton Price who managed to turn their unique musical tension into a beautiful, complete sound.
The band began by releasing singles and videos that turned into their first EP, “Flowers from the Stars” that they released in early 2014.  Since that time their music has been played and featured on over 40 music blogs and podcasts.  In the fall of 2013 their song, “Hearts Expire” was used for the T.V. show, “Degrassi-Next Generation”.  This song was later used for fashion publication Flare Magazine’s “Songs of Summer” Songza play list that was actively promoted on their website.  
As the City Rumbles Underneath have also gained attention from EDM music creators and fans.  Music producers Chris Lago (Armada/Sony) and Tep No have both taken to the music of As the City Rumbles Underneath and have done EDM remixes that have gotten the band a lot of additional exposure they otherwise wouldn’t have had.
Cat and Ashton are looking forward to building on their successes from the past two years and gaining new fans with their 2015 release, Prophecies. They are currently planning new videos for the release while looking for new placements for their music.
