Alexandrea Archuleta began at age 8 playing music during communion and mass every week at Presentation of Our Lady.  Middle and high school was dedicated to life behind the scenes studying technical theater, costuming, carpentry and lighting design.  Today, she researches paranormal phenomena within and at the periphery of the sonic spectrum and transforming those ideas into live and recorded sound.  Spending over a decade submerged in the Bay Area revolutionary and futuristic music community mixed with roots in Denver noise and hardcore, she finds inspiration everywhere, in all music and especially in the nature and the radical sound experiments of her community.

The Hamburg based producer with a weakness for spicy japanese food and science fiction novels is part of The Press Group label and Remoto Recordshop, which both has been close to the LV musical mind and hearts – delivers the stuff we want to play with. A cinematic and immersive excursion from one of Berlin’s most distinctive selectors. Blind Observatory guided the Saturday crowd through expansive techno landscapes and cosmic textures. A precise and powerful dream'n'space journey that carried the outdoor stage from late afternoon into the golden hour.

The fire at the center of the floor was more signal than warmth against the countryside chill. Sparks shot upward into the night as dancers circled around, bodies locked into the pulse spilling from the booth. Above Below Festival thrives on these elemental juxtapositions: a rural valley transformed into a site of intensity, a cocoon-like booth channeling waves of sound that felt larger than the space itself. With every kick drum, the edges of the night blurred, and for hours the crowd existed in a suspended orbit around light, heat, and rhythm.

It was here that Timesplitters, Jake and Pat, took hold. Their set drove forward on cavernous bass, but the force alone wasn’t what bound the floor; it was the shifting mid-range voices, synth lines and melodic sequences mutating like smoke from the fire, wrapping dancers in a narrative of tension and release. They approached the set less as selectors and more as authors, tracing the night with a balance of discipline and wildness. Despite their name, there was no split in time, only the sense of one continuous current, shared in firelight, smiles, and unbroken motion.
