The root definition of “Sapien” is “Wisdom”. The project originated in Southern CA in 2014 as a trio. They had accrued an amazing following in the north Orange County area and performed in some prestigious venues. After some turn of events and the extent of bassist and singer Miles Fuller’s struggle with opiate addiction the band broke up and Miles spent from 2021-2022 working on himself. In May of 22’ he continued to struggle but has been in recovery since November 14th 2023. Miles Fuller writes about spirituality, hope, pain, compassion for others, the dark and light of humanity and what it’s like to get out of balance but dig down into inner strength to return to center. Miles is currently the only member in Sapien. The EP In My Temple was written, performed, and recorded entirely by Miles Fuller.

They're much less likely to be pedophiles than the leader of your church, and might save more lives with the tale of their struggle than any book written 2000 years ago ever has.
