Born in Rochester, NY and watching his father Joseph Bain, his two uncles Alfred & Frank and two of their close friends planted a musical seed into Jbain's life. Watching them try to get together a group, balance family and business turned into a child hood dream for Jbain. 

JBain always loved music and used to watch his father play the keys and drums. As he got older his passion for music has grew stronger. Influenced by big artist on such as Jay-z, Nas and Lil' Wayne, JBain began to perfect his craft. Working as a founding member of NeoRokk, Jbain has recorded and performed all over Rochester, NY.
