‘Phenomenon One’ with the legendary Rebel MC and Lady Chann just cannot justifiably be described in words, it just has to be heard and with a mighty remix from DnB don Benny Page you better turn them speakers up.

On December 16 Little Globe Records is releasing its new EP “The Skilled”. This compilation EP consists of 5 tracks, which are produced by new talented producers.

It is often forgotten, but there are so many talented producers to be found in their little bedroom-studios. Little Globe Records started the project “The Skilled” to bring these talented producers of electronic music to light. The compilation EP this created contains 5 tracks. Some tracks are darker and some are more accessible, but all with great character. So hereby we want to put forward the talents of tomorrow: Sin City Status (Amsterdam), Hekkla (Eindhoven), Guessbeats & Kidmalone (Amsterdam), KELDER (Amsterdam) and Thirteen (Arnhem).

Label owner Cursed P about the release: “One of the goals of Little Globe Records is to promote talented producers, which is proven again with this compilation EP. Hence the name “The Skilled”: to point out the skills of these producers. I’m really proud of the result and the big support the tracks are getting!”

After the flamboyant funk of "Flashlighter" and the persuasive party pounding of "Good Times", Menu's chunky ethos gets all tech-i-fied with release no.3.  Big Boss Jay Cunning & Tasmania's 1st breakbeat son, Smithmonger take it to the floor for another Menu Music ho-down on wax.  But don't get it all twisted children, that's not all as fresh off album duties we have the emerald isles own ridiculously "deadly" Splitloop on remix duties. Oh my lord above, you are literally going to make poo poo in your pants when you cop a load of this one!

The original of 'Never Stop' is the epitome of late night dance floor mayhem. Pounding bass hits, sweeping pads, scratch-adelic acid riffs, chopped up vocals and razor sharp breaks that all culminate after the breakdown to make you dance like Carlton from the fresh prince on a heavy crystal session.
Then flip the slab over and you will be greeted with the smell of roast potatoes… no not really, but just as good though, it's the Splitloop remix. With a sound that is defiantly their trademark, but still bringing it forward (again) the lads bang out one of their finest to date. Utilizing the vocal to fine effect and adding just what is needed for a fine re-work, Bren and the "other one" come up trumps.
Menu 003 will have you pumping your fist in the air like a Black Panther outside the Whitehouse!

"Joker Records originated in the middle of the jungle explosion of the mid 90’s and continued to lead its own way of dance floor orientated beats for many years. Although the label didn’t reach the status of labels such as RAM, Urban Takeover and Philly Blunt it was still considered to be an incredibly important part of the early drum and bass scene.

Much of the output from the label received DJ support from the scene’s biggest players, &  At The Time The Riddler was championed by Nicky Blackmarket ,and Kenny Ken for a period.

Many tracks signed to Joker Records used  samples from popular US Hip Hop records such as Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby and Busta Rhymes’s Bus-A-Bus. A sample from the main theme to Star Wars was cleverly reworked for the collaboration with Surburban Base Records under the title Star Warz. This was a favorite intro tune for Ellis D for what seemed like an eternity in 1997."
