Two friends who met each other in highschool on the small Caribbean island of St. Maarten have found common ground in the expression of music. Steven Newton as an upcoming producer studying at Albeda College and Jörgen Gario (UNOM) as a (reggae) poet who previously experimented with his poems on hip hop beats on "Ujudge The Market" is now finding a new way to let his voice be heard. Combining their two sounds has brought forth "Cosmic timing" a chilled out reggae dubstep experience linking electronic music with rudebwoy reggae poetry flavor. Cosmic Timing, is the the album title the two stumbled upon during a conversation in the studio about existing at the right place and time to create a moment that changes forever. These moments allowed a glimpse of themselves and vibrate throughout the listening of Mr Newton and UNOM's first creation "Cosmic Timing".

From Chicago IL, Akrilic found early inspiration from the incredible French artists such as Justice, Daft Punk and Martin Solvig. Their fusion of electronic, indie, rock, and pop sounds produceing music that you can't help but dance to. Combined with a love for the city's amazing hip-hop scene, and Chicago based artists like Kanye, and Na Palm. Allowing him to infuse just the right amount of urban sound into his electronic music. Backed up by an impeccable feel for the crowd , his foundation has grown from endless hours spent tweaking sounds, mixing, and constantly exploring new music.

His fan base continues to grow rapidly as does his exposure. Playing events from big parties, clubs like Medusa's and big venues like The Rave in Milwaukee sharing stages with the likes of Paul Oakenfold.
