The dawn of Trident begun when Johan Reaper Norman
(Soul reaper, Dissection) whom had been away from the
scene for a few years started to sense a strong urge
to get back into it. The riffs, ideas and musical
arrangements in his blackened mind had grown way too
powerful to be thrown into oblivion. The true
Death/Black fans all over the world just had to be
part of this outburst from below.
He ran into the fast-shredding bass player Alexander
Friberg (Jaggernaut, Karneywar) in a bar and it fast
stood obvious that they should join forces in their
campaign against mankind
They contacted an horrifying voice called Tobias
Sidegård (Necrophobic) who instantly answered the
call from the abyss.
Together this trio formed the Trident as we know,
except they were missing a skin beater.
After much intense work and many months searching for
the drummer who could withstand the immensity of the
music they finally came in contact with Jonas Blom
(Grief of Emerald).
During this dark ages innumerous string benders were
tried and executed. None seemed to be able to rise up
to this level of darkness.
Rumors reached this mighty line-up about an guitarist
who was unknown to the scene. After spitting hate
together it stood clear that Ewo Solvelius was part
of the Trident.
In 2010 the pain was unleashed through the record
World Destruction (Regain Records) receiving high
praises from all other warmongers out there.
After a few years of strife and war the line-up
changed brutally.
Jonas was the first one to leave the force, being
replaced by the equally talented but even darker mind
of Joakim Goat Antonsson (Nox Aurea, Death Tyrant).
At the dawn of 2012 Alexander and Tobias left to
focus on Necrophobic leaving the army weakened but
ready to grow stronger.
Soon after the new bass-player was found, the
psychopathic mind of Beast (David Lantz (Warheim))
received the mark only to be followed by an even
wickeder mind.
The brutal anguishing screams of Defiler (Henri
Heikkinen) stands at the front to crush your hopes.
All hail the mark of the Trident and prepare for the
Aftermath..
During the lastest silence the Trident has been hard
at work in studio with results soon to be unleashed
on the crowds.
