Shake The Building

Born in Liverpool in 1982, Wayne Donnelly (aka Hypasonic) is regarded by many as one of the best producers in the scouse house genre. From his early white label productions on WW Records, to his later releases on labels like DSP and All Around The World, he honed his sound, and his craft, putting his name next to some of the biggest anthems of an era. Working alongside frequent collaborator and best friend Mike Di Scala, the two eventually moved over into the world of happy hardcore, with Wayne producing tracks under the name DJ Squad-E.

Known not only as an incredible songwriter and producer, but with his insane work-rate he was frequently credited as a remixer and engineer on numerous projects and under aliases like Onyx, Access 3, D:CODE and many more...

On Thursday 25th March 2021, Wayne sadly passed away after a lengthy battle with depression. The mark he left on not just one, but two music scenes, will always be remembered and his ridiculous back catalogue stands the test of time, even to this day. 

Gone too soon, but NEVER forgotten. Forgotten Scouse House pays tribute to this truly talented artist with a two-hour tribute to the one they call HYPASONIC.
