Musician, producer and 1/5 of the Sark based schizophrenic folk band... The Recks

Mechanical Lobster were a pop band on the Channel Island of Guernsey. 

Formed just before the turn of the last century they were the house band in the Golden Monkey nightclub. Playing their unique style of lounge cover versions they were a big hit with the tasteless and drunks.

After their last tour of the USA in 2007 they split.

Already gaining radio play, Tonight The Skies’ music has been described as ‘heart-felt dream pop’ by their growing fan base. This duo from Guernsey have just finished their debut LP, due for release in March 2013. Self-producing a bright melodic sound with dark edges, their beats, strings and soulful lyrics combine to create songs you’ll love to have in your head!
