Yanchan Produced is a Canadian-Tamil producer, mixing engineer, singer and South Indian hand drummer (Mridangam) from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. As a producer and artist his unique sounds that express his Scarborough upbringing with Tamil foundations has been evident in his consistent release of solo and collaborative projects that have garnered over 12 million streams on Spotify. In 2022, Yanchan released a series of live beat making videos on Instagram and Tik Tok, one of which reached over 15 million views and over 225,000 videos made using his sound. Yanchan most recently has helped build Emtee Music Group, a contemporary music label and artist development company, committed to bringing artist development and music education back to the forefront of the music industry.
