৭১ এর মহান স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে গেরিলাদের পাশাপাশি সহযোদ্ধা ছিলেন স্বাধীন বাংলা বেতার কেন্দ্রের শিল্পী, সুরকার, গীতিকার ও কর্মীরা। একাত্তরের যুদ্ধের একটি ইতি আছে কিন্তু বাঙালির জীবন যুদ্ধের কোনো ইতি নেই, তা চলমান। সেই জীবনযুদ্ধকে বেগবান করতে শক্তি যোগাক আমাদের স্বাধীন বাংলা বেতার কেন্দ্রের বিপ্লবী সুর।  বাঙালির বিপ্লব সকল ক্ষেত্রে বিদ্যমান থাকুক ধর্ম, বর্ণ, গোত্র, লিঙ্গ, সক্ষমতা  নির্বিশেষে।  স্বাধীনতার সুবর্ণজয়ন্তীতে সকল মুক্তিযোদ্ধা, বীরাঙ্গনা, শরণার্থী, এবং সকল শহীদদের প্রতি বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা জানাই।

আমাদের অনুভূতির রংগুলো একই রকম থাকেনা, তা পাল্টায়। কখনো থাকে শুভ্র সাদা, কখনো বা হলুদ আনন্দে মেতে ওঠে, আবার কখনো সেই রং হয়ে ওঠে জমে যাওয়া অন্ধকার, অবাধ্য, আধি ও অবসন্ন । 

আমাদের চিন্তায় অবিরাম চলতে থাকে নিজের সঙ্গে এক আপোষের প্রক্রিয়া, আমরা একই সত্তায় কখনো আনন্দিত, কখনো বিষন্ন, কখনো নিষ্ঠূর কখনো অনুকূল, কখনো কঠোর কখনো নমনীয়, কখনো সৃষ্টিশীল কখনো ধ্বংসাত্মক, কখনো প্রতিশোধ ও ঘৃণায় মোক্ত, আবার কখনো ক্ষমাশীল ও অনুরাগী, কখনো বলিষ্ঠ, আবার কখনো ভঙ্গুর, নশ্বর। মানুষ বলতেই নশ্বর, মানুষ বলতেই শক্তি, এবং একটিকে ছাড়া আরেকটি অসম্পূর্ণ। বাইরের জগতের কোলাহল ও আর্তনাদ ছাপিয়ে আমাদের প্রকৃত সংগ্রাম আমাদের নিজের সঙ্গে। 

কবিগুরু রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের গানের সৃষ্টির মাঝে যখন খুঁজে ফিরি এই রূপান্তরের আলোকে উচ্ছাস ও বিষন্নতার সম্পূরক যাত্রা, আত্ম মুক্তির যাত্রা, তখন তা কি রূপে দাঁড়ায়! 

The colours of our emotions are ever changing. Sometimes from peaceful white to ecstatic yellow, and that to sometimes dark, defiant, deeply despondent. 

We are constantly negotiating within ourselves as we are not in one single state at all times, we are hopeful as we can experience despair, we are kind as we can be cruel, we are solid as we are supple, we are nurturing as we are destructive, we are avenging as we are forgiving, we are strong as we are fragile. All of these states are a part of our humane journey, and one is incomplete without the other. Within the realm of external chaos and creation, the true battle of the self is within oneself. 

We have tried to explore this journey of transformation, the journey of liberation in a song of the great poet Rabindranath Tagore.

My Participation In 'Ghum Bhanga Shohore A Tribute To L.R.B.,' Featured By Rumon Hayat

Ashfaq Hossain Shawon or more commonly known as the guitarist/composer of Satanik was born in November 2nd in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He started playing guitar at 1999. He actually had no intention of becoming a guitarist because he was strongly against it but his mom forced him to learn guitar so one day he went to his cousin's house and saw him playing his guitar and singing. He was so inspired by him that he started to learn guitar from his cousin. And formed the band Satanik at the year end of 2001. Farther plans for Satanik includes a world tour after their album releases in the international market.

Influences: Yngwie Johann Malmsteen, Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, Paul Gilbert, Vinnie Moore, Michael Romeo, Michael Angelo Batio, John Petrucci, Ritchie kotzen, Chris Impellitteri, Jeff Loomis.
