We're a young Indie Rock band from Pittsburgh PA, consisting of an eclectic group of artists who aim to provide a transcendental musical experience to music enthusiasts everywhere.     

We're a sextet comprising of - 

James Cain (Keys/vocals)
Asir Arif (Lead guitars/vocals/Pipa)
Joe Cochran (Lead vocals/guitars/ukelele/violin/various)
Jackson Marcrum (Drums/percussion)
David Truman (Lead vocals/guitars/keys)
Pat Fabila (Bass/vocals)

Each of us individually bring in different experiences stemming from versatile musical backgrounds, and we fuse elements of blues, jazz, rock, reggae and psychedelia into the collective sounds you hear from The Mellophants.  

We've released our debut Ep 'This Rock Rolls' online late summer 2014, and we're currently working on our first album. We're also planning a tour for this summer and looking forward to doing more live shows in the coming months. We're currently unsigned.
