Miamore The Vet is originally from Rochester, NY.  She spent many years of her young adult life in Waycross GA, where she primarily wrote songs and raps.  Unsatisfied with working the 9 to 5 schedule, barely making ends meet, she joined the US Army in 2006. Miamore has served 2 overseas tours, deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan. She was honorably discharged in November of 2012.  She decided to pick up the pen again after being inspired by someone close to her and she recently dropped her first single demo “Female INC” and a preview of her mix-tape “Off Meds”, to be released soon.  Miamore currently spends her time divided between her family, academics, and her love for music, hence the name Miamore! Her musical influences include: Lauryn Hill, Tupac, Lil’ Kim, MC Lyte, and The Wu-Tang Clan.  Destined to step out and write the illest bars, perform at sold-out shows, and give Hip-Hop another female emcee for the history books, Miamore stays writing and perfecting her craft.
