This one, if I haven't already said, comes to me late in the night. We've even spoken. How it opens up letting all of the earth in. It casts a wide birth to joy. It is a touch of jazz. It's classical. It is the suggestion of rain. It swirls. It bounces. It's playful. And happy. Tender. Tenderness. A place. It establishes trust between beings.

In a time when the world is too easily focused on the differences between different people and cultures and fear of the unknown, online communities such as SoundCloud are amazing places for people from all over the world to come together and celebrate life and the gift of music.

Places like this allow artists to sincerely and honestly share their talents in an uncompromised manner with whomever would listen. This is possible regardless of who the artist is, where they are from, what level of marketing savvy they posses, or what degree of support they have from the entrenched entertainment establishment that purports to dictate what is cool, trending, and marketable.  It allows sincerity to triumph and for real people to find other real people wherever they are.  It allows people to potentially expand their concept of friendship and family from the microcosm of the self to the macrocosm of the global village. It allows us all to focus on our shared commonalities and better believe in the innate goodness in all humans via uniting in our shared passion for the universal language of music.

Ashot Danielyan is a pianist and film composer. He composes music in a variety of genres such as Classical, Ambient, New Age and Experimental music. His favourite instrument remains the piano, which he includes prominently in most of his music. Ashot composes music for movies, short films, trailers, presentations and advertising. Also he creates remixes, including the music of Mike Oldfield, Hannah Georgas, CoMa, Bajofondo Tango Club, Hans Zimmer, Dirk Maassen, Wolf Saga.
Ashot Danielyan was:
- semi-finalist of “The International Songwriting Competition” with his
instrumental composition “Shadows”;
- semi-finalist of “The UK Songwriting Contest” with “Vanilla Dawn”,
“Where I’m”, “Heart Beat”, “A way to the Eastland”, and “The girl in
the window” (2012)
- win in the "14th Annual Independent Music Awards" with Album EP -
"Mountain Prayer" (in the Instrumental (New
Age/Instrumental/Contemporary Classical) category) (2016)
