'Fire' was the first ever track that I wrote under the Embers In Snow project. While, the song back then was much simpler and straightforward, over the course of time, I have been recreating the song in different forms just out of curiosity to where I can take the song while keeping to the original sentiments.

This reworked rendition was recorded last year during a friend's studio session and after all the renditions that I've had of this song, this version is my particular favourite.

I resonate to this track when my life takes a turn for the worse. For me, it's a prayer that let things be right while acknowledging that nothing is. Regardless, no matter where life goes, certain things that are harmed and broken, don't ever really mend and we're forced to let go.
